Wollongong Science Centre - Year 3 Excursion

To compliment student learning in Science and Technology as well as English, students in Year 3 will be attending an excursion to the Wollongong Science Centre. Here students will experience the most digitally advanced Planetarium in NSW, featuring the full-dome immersive show "Our Place in Space." A live presenter will guide students through the wonders of the solar system.

Students will also participate in a captivating science demonstration and explore over 90 hands-on exhibits, showcasing STEM in action. These exhibits align with the NSW Curriculum, providing practical applications and engaging ways to learn.

Please note that students will be returning to school after the normal school dismissal time. This means that they will not be be able to access normal school bus routes and alternate arrangements will need to be made by parents/carers.

Date/Time:  Wednesday 11 September 2024 10:30am - 4:45pm

Cost:  $40.00

Venue:  Wollongong Science Centre (Puckey Avenue, Innovation Campus, North Wollongong, NSW, 2500)

Transport:  Coach.

Clothing:  Full sports uniform including hat.

Food:  Students are to bring their own recess and lunch.
