Kindergarten Book Week Library Visit

To celebrate Book Week this year, Oran Park Library is hosting a special Book Week presentation for local Kindergarten classes in the area. Students attending will engage in Readers' Theatre, games and songs based on books shortlisted for the Children's Book Council Australia's Book of the Year. Our Kindergarten classes will be attending on Thursday 22nd August 2024. The student only excursion will take place during school hours. Please see below for when your child's session is on. Sessions will run for approximately one hour. There is no cost for this excursion.

Kindergarten classes will walk to the local library in Oran Park to attend their allocated session and walk back to school to resume learning. Please note that there will be some variation to school routine on this day to ensure that all children have opportunities to eat their lunch and play for break time before returning to class.
