Westpac Heli Landing Stage 2

In partnership with The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service in Southern NSW, Westpac has invited students in Stage 2 at Oran Park Public School to be part of the Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter Landings Program on Friday the 23rd September 2022.

Students will experience the thrill of having the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter land on the school grounds at 12:20pm - 1:25pm and learn about how to avoid getting into danger, how to stay safe in an emergency, vital safety tips and advice from the very people at the forefront our emergency services.

They’ll also have the chance to see the helicopter up close and the state-of-the art lifesaving equipment used by the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service (WLRHS) crew in emergency situations. It is important to note students will not be flying in the helicopter.

We wish to extend this information to our community so that there is no misunderstanding about why the rescue helicopter has landed on the school grounds.
