At Oran Park Public School we are lucky enough to have a Defence School Transition Aide/Defence Transition Mentor, Caitlin Tibbles, who is here to support students from Defence families. Her primary role is to give social and emotional assistance to all Defence students, particularly when parents are away from the family home on deployments, courses or exercises or, when students are transitioning in and out of school.
If you are a serving member of the Australian Defence Force, it would assist the school greatly if you could take a little time to answer the questions online at this LINK or print and return this form (pdf 374 KB) to the school office as soon as possible. Once Defence students are identified, we can then provide extra support in school if needed.
